David Lindert (1992) is a Czech born artist and writer living in Germany. Deploying an autobiographical approach, Lindert's work mirrors, processes and translates his daily experiences. Recurring themes include borderline personality disorder, anxiety, toxic relationship, sex and substance addiction, boredom, alienation and childhood trauma. Lindert's work explores the affective impact of commodified individuality as well as fractured identities and offers greater insights on the dark sides of contemporary (gay) life. In 2020 David Lindert exhibited in Los Angeles galleries: O Town House, New Low and Tom of Finland Foundation, where he also had his poetry reading, in December he takes part of Queer Correspondance, A mail-initiative, a project by Cell Project Space in London.
